I am SO excited about my new website! It finally feels like me, I can finally navigate it and manage it from my finger tips. The biggest issue I was having was my blog, it wasn’t with my website and I hadn’t updated my site in over a year (yikes!). But my new goal this year is to keep up with it ALL, hooray!
I travled to Richmond, Va to meet with my favorite graphic designer Blair Etheridge. Blair and I met in college in some studio art class. I can’t even remember which one we met in because after that, we scheduled ALL of our studio classes together. Blair is the type of person you want in studio classes. She is ridiculously creative and can fix, solve or just simply give advice on bettering your art. I dragged her into my honors art fraternity Kappa Pi where she became my little. Blair and I have always kept in touch since college. We are the type of friends that can go an entire year and not speak but when we see each other its like there has been no time lost.
I am so thankful for her. She and I sat at her adorable Richmond home that she of course flipped and hashed out a new site. 10 hours later and we had caught up on life, drank a lot of coffee, inspired each others goals, gave advice on life, created a blog, laughed, designed a new logo, drank more coffee, launched a new site, created new mini sessions, answered work emails and ate chipotle at 10pm at night! I just love days like this, so much productivity happening and catching up with long lost friends.
Thank YOU Blair for being so wonderful and such an amazing friend and graphic designer! MWAH!
I CANT believe I didn’t take a selfie of US! Wah! Oh well, here is one from our college days!
